Erin Gunn
Living Benefits Consultant
We are pleased to welcome Erin Gunn, Living Benefits Consultant who joins our Living Benefits Department. Erin has 9 years of industry experience, most recently with a major insurer as the BC Regional Living Benefits Manager. We are excited to have obtained Erin’s expertise in the complex area of Long Term Disability and Critical Illness. Erin holds the Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designation and is passionate about risk protection.
Ravi Hyare
Retirement & Investments Representative
It is with pleasure that we announce that Ravi Hyare joins our Retirement and Investment Team. Ravi's background in both finance and project management are well suited for the diverse responsibility that comes with being an Investment Advisor. Ravi's approach to creating a financial plan is to work closely with clients to understand their financial and life goals and then use this information to create a customized financial strategy to help meet these goals. Ravi’s strength is to build solid, long-term relationships with each client. Ravi believes the key to his personal success is his ability to help clients achieve financial prosperity.
Janet McKay
Senior Group Account Manager
We are very pleased to welcome Janet McKay to our Group Benefits Team. Janet brings 18 years of group benefits experience to her role as Senior Group Account Manager. Janet will partner with our mid to large client base in the management of their group benefit plans. Her background includes consulting roles with national benefits consulting firms in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. She has also directly managed the employee benefit program for a large health authority in Alberta, providing her with a deep understanding of the challenges our clients face on a daily basis. Janet holds a BA from the University of British Columbia and is a Certified Human Resources Professional.
David Piccione
Manager, Information Systems
Dave Piccione joins the DFG team in a newly created position as Manager, Information Systems. Dave brings 10 years of experience in Group Benefits Administration and systems development. He is also an accomplished web applications programmer. Dave bridges business needs with technical skills, and has led a number of system implementations for clients of all sizes, as well as association benefit plans. When he isn't thinking code or creating an administrative process, Dave spends as much time as possible with his wife and two sons.
David Wilmot
Employee Benefits Broker
We welcome Dave Wilmot in his role of Employee Benefits Advisor. Dave has been involved in the employee benefits industry since 1979 in a variety of senior capacities with several of Canada’s largest group insurance carriers. He brings a wide range of experience and perspectives with a focus on ensuring plan sponsors get the best value for their premium dollar. In the immortal words of Albert Einstein, “We make everything as simple as possible, but no simpler.” Dave is a long time Vancouver resident and an enthusiastic recreational cyclist and golfer.
